The Co-op will be closed today, Tuesday, April 2nd through Thursday, April 4th. Here’s a look at what will be happening these three days:

Remove front doors to allow coolers to move in and out.
FRONT DOOR UPDATE: The new sliding doors will not be installed until the end of April now. So the old doors will stay for about another month.

Reconfigure front entryway to move cart storage INTO the entryway.

Reconfigure front seating area half wall to lower its profile and allow greater visibility in and out of the seating area.

Coolers!
Existing Produce coolers removed and replaced with new.
Existing Beer cooler moves to its new home towards the back of the store.
New Cheese cooler comes in to the store, as does the new fresh meat cooler. These will be located at the back (north) of the store.
Three freezer doors peel off our existing run and move to the back (north) corner of the store. These will house frozen meat.
Existing freezer run shifts forward slightly allowing for additional chill coolers to go into the freezer run. (Chill will expand with this reset.)

Middle grocery aisle (double-sided shelving) will be shifted forward roughly 2 feet. This means all product will be removed from the shelves in order to slide the fixture forward. Product is then replaced on the shelving.

New cash register stands installed. We will have 4 belt registers now!

New seating area tables and chairs.

Finishing touches on Deli kitchen and counter areas in preparation for inspection before re-opening (hopefully) Friday, April 5th. (No hot bar/salad bar until mid-April. But, we’ll have hot sandwiches, grab-n-go items, and our new hot slide items!)
