Oneota Co-op has welcomed three new members to its board of directors following our 2025 electoral cycle. These individuals are:

Amy Grinna, 295 votes; Carly Zierke, 289 votes; Steph Hughes, 264 votes.

These elected member/owners will fill openings created by the following three board members completing their service: Bill Iverson, Bee Lutz, and Carl Peterson. We thank these individuals for their dedication to the Co-op over the past several years.

A total of six member/owners filed candidacy and ran in our 2025 election. Erin Shaw also received 255 votes; Brigitte Cornelius, 211; and Andrea Eager, 154 votes. We are grateful to all those who participated in our cooperative, democratic process; the candidacy of each individual is appreciated.

Each person voting was allowed three votes (and not for the same candidate). 2025 election turnout was 497 member/owners. This number is 14.5% of our eligible electors. Two individuals abstained from voting, and the Co-op experienced two invalid ballots.

Completing this final stage were Brennan Allsworth, board vice president, Nathan Dietzenbach, board secretary, Johanna Bergan, member/owner,Scott Timm, member/owner, and Nate Furler, general manager.

Hughes, Grinna, and Zierke will begin service at the Thursday, April 29 meeting of the board of directors. Meeting commences at 6 p.m. in the Co-op Kitchen Classroom (two doors east of the Co-op’s main doors). The public is welcome to attend.
